Recently (August 1), the General Administration of Customs updated the “Registration Information for Overseas Food Producers” and the “List of Animals and Animal Products Prohibited from Being Imported from Countries and Regions Affected by Animal Diseases”:
It has suspended the acceptance of import declarations for pork products from four Finnish companies (registration codes: FI18 EY, FI 22 EY, S061101, S743109) for products shipped to China on or after August 1, 2026.
According to statistics, China imported 380,000 metric tons of pork from January to June 2026, of which 1,243.685 metric tons were imported from Finland.
