Kazakhstan and China sign pork export protocol for the first time
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture and the General Administration of Customs of China signed a protocol in Shanghai on the 15th to regulate the inspection, quarantine, and safety requirements for pork exported from Kazakhstan to China.

The Ministry of Agriculture stated that this was a significant step, as Kazakh pork had never previously been supplied to the Chinese market, and no Kazakh company had received permission to export pork to China. The protocol opens up new opportunities for pork supply, including not only frozen and chilled meat, but also by-products and heat-processed products.

The signing of this document will usher in a new phase in the development of bilateral trade relations and help strengthen Kazakhstan's pig breeding and processing industries. Increased exports will drive capacity expansion for enterprises and development in rural areas.

"This protocol is an important step forward in developing economic and trade relations between Kazakhstan and China and in promoting Kazakh agricultural products on the international market," said Minister of Agriculture Aydarbek Saparov.

According to the document, the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and the General Administration of Customs of China agreed to strengthen cooperation to ensure that product quality and safety meet high international standards, with particular attention to inspection and quarantine issues.
