Beware! Floods in Vietnam rushed into Guangxi! The ASF has infected more than 2 million pigs!
According to Kankan News on September 12, affected by Typhoon Makar, heavy to torrential rains occurred in parts of Vietnam on September 9. Some rivers in northwestern Vietnam experienced severe floods, even exceeding the highest flood levels in the region in the past 10 years.

What we need to be vigilant about is that some media photographed hundreds of ducks being washed into Vietnam. Although ducks themselves do not carry ASF virus, there are many small and medium-sized breeders and family farms in Vietnam, and pollutants affected by pig farms are also likely to be washed into the country with the severe floods.

It can be seen that if the strains from Vietnam are accidentally introduced, there will be hidden dangers of causing major harm to the pig farming industry in Guangxi and even in the south.

Fortunately, Guangxi's representative pig companies such as Yangxiang Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation have outstanding ASF prevention and control capabilities, but even if the scale of Guangxi's pig farming industry has reached more than 60% now, it must be more careful in the near future, especially to prevent sewage from returning to the site, vehicles and materials carrying viruses, and reduce the number of people entering and leaving, so as to avoid major risks to pig farms.
