According to the Press Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, during the SCO Astana Summit, a delegation from the China Meat Association visited the North Kazakhstan Industrial Park.
Kazakhstan enterprises showed the delegation the entire processing process from livestock slaughter to packaging for shipment to the domestic market. The industrial park's assembly lines are highly automated and meet international health and quarantine standards. The laboratory is equipped with German-made analyzers for round-the-clock quality control, and the finished products are stored in a special freezing workshop.
The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the prospects for cooperation. The China Meat Association expressed its intention to import 20,000 tons of pork annually.
